About
Some things to which I get up:
- Primarily I am a graphic designer, working mainly with the entertainment industry. Here is my website for that. I do posters, advertising, packaging, all of that good stuff. I warn you, I generally tend to spend more time working and procrastinating and taking care of my kids than I do updating my website.
- I also take pictures using old cameras, which alarmingly some people want to buy. I had a solo exhibition in December 2009.
- One of my earlier projects was to edit, design, publish, market and sell an anthology of outsider writing and music. Nick Royle from Time Out called it “absolutely ace“, and The Big Issue said it was a “a clever reflection of the pick ‘n’ mix mish mash of contemporary culture”. I managed three issues before circumstances didn’t allow me to continue. I have compiled a “Best of” the music part though - listening to demo tapes from, and sometimes even meeting, all manner of unusual musical characters was the best part of the whole thing.
- I help out with a couple of community things as well, like the community orchard I have helped to set up, and a local art co-op. Because you should do local things, you really should
